“Sri Lanka is a very competitive team that has always played well and I look forward to the test series,” said Rajput. “For us it’s a fresh start, a new chapter and it’s good to start with the longer version that always brings out the best in the actors.”
Zimbabwe will begin preparing for the series with a ten-day training camp starting tomorrow, featuring the best players from the national world-class competition, the Logan Cup. βIt is important to have players who perform well in world-class cricket, and I am happy that we have players in the Logan Cup who have scored over the centuries and taken five or more goals.
“This bodes well for our preparations and it’s always good to have players in and out of shape. During our 10-day boot camp we will be dealing with a few issues, including processes as we fine-tune our team prior to the series.”

Richie Berrington’s side was capped 132-6 by Zimbabwe, who continued to clear these laps with nine balls to spare after surviving 7-2 in the final second of the chase thanks to captain Craig Ervine (58 to 54) and Sikandar. Raza (40 out of 23).
Raza left 31 deliveries with 27 required runs and Ervine closed at the end of 17 with 14 runs needed to give Scotland hope, but Milton Shumba (not 11) and Ryan Burl (not 9) Burl took Zimbabwe home with muscular Safyaan . Sharif is halfway across the winning line.
Scotland defeated the West Indies in the first leg, but consecutive defeats ended their hopes of making it to the second round for the second year in a row.
After reaching the Super 12 for the first time in its history, Zimbabwe can now look forward to their games against India, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh and the Netherlands.

Scotland lost two goals in power play, including Matthew Cross (1), to a perfect catch by Wesley Madhevere in the middle of Richard Ngarava’s (2-28) bowling.
Top scorer George Munsey (54 out of 51) β fifty of which was ninth in the international T20 tournament β ββshared the stands 40 and 36 with Berrington (13) and Calum MacLeod (25), respectively, but the runs did not come quickly or smoothly.
Tendai Chatara (2-14) was Zimbabwe’s offensive choice, and fellow sailor Ngarava and non-spinning Raza (1-20) were also impressive.
Regis Chakabva (4) and Madhevere (0) failed to impress with the bat, but were banned twice indoors when Chakabva went to Brad Wheal and Madhevere dragged Josh Davey onto their stumps.

“A few more races on this surface would have given us a chance to increase the pressure. It was disappointing that we didn’t build momentum and run with a stick.

The Rise and Fall of Zimbabwean Cricket
Zimbabwe T20 WC 2022 Team Preview: The last time Zimbabwe played in an ICC event was in 2016, over six years ago. Six years is a long time for international cricket and it’s worth mentioning here that the rest of the world is moving forward. On the other hand, corruption was rampant in Zimbabwean cricket; From now on, they will have to play outside of their looks to secure a spot in the super 12s in the upcoming T20 World Cup. That said, let’s not forget that Zimbabwe does a really good job of booking flights to Australia. They used most of their home conditions and won five games in a row before beating the Netherlands in the final. With the two-time champions West Indies and weaker Ireland in their group, Zimbabwe will need more than a Sikandar Raza or a Craig Erwine to cause a upset, provided only two teams pass the dam.
They beat Hong Kong and Scotland for the last time in India and lost the next match to Afghanistan, meaning they were eliminated in the first round.
Sikandar Raza: The Sialkot born cricketer comes to Australia for a lifetime and the whole team trusts this man. He has appeared in excellent form with three ODI centuries in six ODIs so far – one against a quality side like India. I hope he brings this form to the T20Is, where he’s represented four half centuries in the last ten hits.
Ryan Burl: While Burl made a name for himself with his viral tweet (begging for kit), the 28-year-old has proven to be an all-around influencer. Can’t just make progress
