Women’s World Cup Cricket 2021 – The trans-Tasman clash at Wellington’s iconic Basin Reserve was one of the highlights of the 31-match schedule announced at the inaugural 2021 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in the New Zealand capital today.
Basin Reserve have been confirmed to host two of New Zealand’s WHITE FERNS matches during the tournament, one of which will be against T20 World Cup champions and arch-rivals Australia on Saturday 13 February.

New Zealand, Australia, England and South Africa have already qualified for the World Cup. The remaining four teams will be formed following the conclusion of the ICC Women’s Championship and the subsequent qualifiers in Sri Lanka in July.
In an eight-team round-robin format, all teams will play each other, with the top four teams advancing to the semifinals.
